Norway completes the framework of the tallest wooden building in the world, which is praised for being environmental friendly, as well as fire resistant because it is given a special coating. On Sunday, September 9, 2018, the final installation of the 18-story wooden building beam was completed.

Named the Mjos Tower, the 85.40 meter high building is located near Lake Mjos, about 100 kilometers north of Oslo, the capital of Norway. The business who funded the construction of the Mjow tower, Arthur Buchardt, explained, the use of wood, a renewable material, allows the CO2 emission compared to concentrate, the main building material in the city.

"Building with wood help us breathe in a better world," he said. The Mjow Tower, which opened in March 2019, provides apartments, indoor pools, restaurant, and natural offices.
